21. University of Georgia:

University of Georgia

  • Online Master of Education in Science Education
  • Address: Athens, Georgia
  • Graduate Tuition/Fees: $16,053 USD
  • Website: Click Here

Some M.Ed. programs are generalized for a variety of positions, but the University of Georgia’s program is much more specialized. It focuses on natural sciences teaching and learning at the secondary level, or grades 6 through 12. Rather than being designed for anyone with a bachelor’s degree, the University of Georgia’s program has been designed from the ground up for teachers who are already certified in some other secondary science field or generic middle-grade education, provided that they specialize in science.

It’s a great way to double down on the focus of the “science teacher” job for these grade levels, as program graduates are more qualified for those positions than practically any other M.Ed. holders competing for the same jobs. The program is taught by internationally recognized faculty and allows for both full- and part-time enrollment.

In fact, most students in the program are only part-time, as they are typically still working as teachers. Because the curriculum is so specialized, teachers will find a lot of empathy from the instructors and will recognize many of the challenges depicted in the coursework as those that they already face in their day-to-day working lives.

Q. What is the easiest master’s degree to get online?

Ans.)  The term “easier Master’s degree” may seem contradictory. After all, graduate school is the place to get an advanced degree. This type of advanced study requires a lot of work. But not all Mater’s degrees are equally challenging.

According to me, Liberal Studies are the easiest Master’s degree. This is considered an easy masters degree because of its broad focus. The high number of electives also lends to the perception that this is an easy degree. The concentration on developing soft skills is another reason why this is among the easiest master’s programs.

In many liberal arts degree programs, electives make up half of a student’s credits. Sometimes it’s more. Often, students use their electives to specialize in one area. This might be in science, religion, or culture, to name a few. A broad curriculum with lots of electives is the easiest part of this degree. A focus on developing soft skills helps too.

Q. Is a degree from Liberty University respected?

Ans.) Yes, a degree from Liberty University is respected. Since the university started off as a Baptist seminary years ago – many in theological ‘circles’ are aware of the university as well.

They offer many disciplines, prepare students for a role in society, and expose them to positive values in life as opposed to many universities in our current culture that are determined to destroy society. Many people I know who know what the university stands for respect it.

An online master’s degree in education at Liberty University offers a flexible, accessible format designed for working teachers. By choosing an online program, teachers can arrange coursework around their schedule. Online programs also let teachers attend top programs from across the country without having to relocate or quit their job. As a result, many teachers choose an online program to advance their education.

Q. Is Ashford University regionally or nationally accredited?

Ans.) Regional accreditation is a good thing. Visiting a regionally recognized institution is important if you want to transfer credits to another institution or participate in a graduate program.

Yes. Ashford University is regionally accredited by WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). Regional accreditation means that more credit transfers are allowed than with national accreditation.

Ashford University is currently accredited and a good school that has learning criteria that actually teaches you the thing with accreditation is that it was regionally accredited by the correct and accurate accrediting region for its actual campus location. For nontraditional students who want a flexible learning experience, Ashford University is a great option.

Q. How long does it take to earn an M.Ed online degree?

Ans.) Knowing how long it will take to get a master’s in education is helpful if you’re trying to plan out the next steps in your career. Typically, a Master in Education program will take around 2 years to complete as a full-time student. For part-time students, it can take anywhere from 3 to 4 years. Some schools make offer accelerated programs that can be completed in as little as 12 to 18 months. These accelerated programs go at an intensive pace that can be difficult for employed students to keep up with.

The registration status affects the time it takes to complete. Full-time enrollment is ideal for people who want to graduate in a short period of time. Some online master programs on our list offer full-time enrollment and last a full calendar year, including summer. The disadvantage of full-time enrollment is the time spent in classes. Some programs allow students to take one class per term; however, full-time status takes two or three classes per term. With work and family commitments low, a full-time online degree could work for you.

People with external responsibilities often choose to teach part-time. Part-time programs offer the convenience and flexibility that full-time programs don’t. Part-time programs allow students to take one course at a time and work. The average completion time for part-time programs is two to three years. Some schools offer an extended graduation period, which means you have four to six years to complete your degree online.

Q5. How much money can I make with an M.Ed online degree?

Ans.) For many teachers and others working in education, pursuing a master’s degree is a big investment. Of course, there’s the time and energy it takes to complete the classes, but there is also the dollars and cents investment–it’s not cheap to go to college.

Elementary school teachers can earn $51,175 on average. The bottom ten percent of elementary school teachers earn $35,000 per year, and the top ten percent of earners make $74,000 per year. Middle school teachers earn an average salary of $52,378. The lowest ten percent of middle school teachers earn $37,000, while the highest ten percent of earners make $75,000 per year. We also reviewed salaries for high school teachers. On average, high school teachers earn a yearly salary of $53,988. The bottom ten percent of earners make $37,000 and the top ten percent make $79,000.

School administrators also hold masters in education, even M.Ed. online degrees. The United States Department of Labor – Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reports the 2018 median annual pay for elementary, middle, and high school principals is $95,310.

My Verdict:

My master’s in education programs share important purposes, such as preparing graduates to work as teachers or administrators, each program offers different courses and concentrations. Expect the time required to complete a degree and the tuition to vary.

Students choose from numerous types of master’s degrees, each emphasizing a different set of knowledge and skills. Online master’s programs prepare students to earn new jobs and pursue management-level positions within their current organization.
